I doubt you'll be alone in this one lol.

I loved A link to the Past on SNES
And Links Awakening.

I played ocarina of time and thought that rocked too, apparently they are remaking it with extras for the Gamecube.

I hated the second Zelda game on N64. Its too confusing for me. Or not confusing rather, just rushed. What was it called? Ocarina of Time is one of the best games ever.

Link to the Past was probably one of my favorite games on SNES. I'll never forget the first time I beat it... sniff

I love Zelda. I have completed Zelda 1 (didnt want to complete zelda 2 that was crap), Zelda: Link to the Past, Zelda: Links Awakining, Zelda Ott, Zleda: MM. The games are simply brilliant.

I'm tempted to try it, but I like deep characters; plus, I'm a bit of a soppy person so I've got a thing for romance in a story...:D

Ocarina of time is definately my favourite, though Majoras mask was fun, it didnt match up to OOT. Im playing through oracle of seasons at the moment, its fun but confusing! you spend most of the time wondering around aimlessly trying to find where youre supposed to go. But I dont like the new cell-shaded look for Zelda, the Gamecube is capable of much more than those silly disney graphics.:(

I Agree that the cell shaded animation was a tad uncalled for, but im still willing to give it a try when it comes out, hell gameplay makes a game, but I don't like the way ninty are doing the games recently.

Shamus ain't even the main character in the Metroid game coming out lol :D

i don't mind zelda's new look. The gameplay is all that matters to me. ^_~

and Demon biscuit buddy (hehe^^) really? they are making a remake of Oot for N64? O.O! are you positive?

oh and yes...link is very kawaii. ^^ lol.

Thats what I've heard on numerous Game sites yeah.
(There were 2 Zeldas in production, the Cell Shaded game and also one with normal 3d graphics, also Miyamoto said he would like to remake OOT with all the Extras like dungeons and behind the scenes stuff for GC as it could handle it, I put 2 and 2 together.)

Not just me speculating mind. I'll find the site I heard it from.

EDIT: Sorry for the Delay :D, Heres the link (No pun intended :p )

Since when does Zelda not have deep characters? OoT was quite riveting concerning character development (i.e. "Shiek")

zelda's characters are very deep, and so is the storyline. ^_^

Creep
05-02-2002, 09:50 PM
lol, if you call Zelda's characters deep, then mgs's characters are a black hole. Seriously, they are barely deep, and the storyline could be a lot better, maybe mre mature.

No shit MGS's characters are deeper, it's a frickin' movie. Yes, I do think that Zelda has some great character development, but only for a few of them. Link, for one, never talks, so we have no idea what he's thinking.

Maybe he just really wants to be a black belt.

heh, you have to think beyond the game. You have to look through miyamoto's eyes to see the real link, you have to picture link how he pictures him. No, Link isn't going to talk or think anything....so his personality isn't going to be thrown in front of you so you can see what he is like, you have to listen to the words of the other people in hyrule and what they say about him, also you might want to read the offical players guide. it tells a lot about the characters personalities. ^_^ Loz games are fun that way! :D

The Dude

Link is the traditional Japanese RPG character :D
I mean in traditional RPG's the Main character never spoke (Seen in one or two FF games, the Zelda series, Chrono Trigger and Echoed in Chrono Cross and teh Breath of Fire series.)

It allows us to like the character more as they won't put their foot in it when they speak lol.

he funny thing is, how do they know all this stuff about him, if he doesnt talk?

i remember you refering to MGS as something like a movie, well...Zelda is more like a good book. In movies you are shown the character's personalities and you can hear their voices so it helps you understand the characters more. ^_^ While with books on the otherhand, not every aspect about the characters and even the storyline are given to you, you have to think deeper. That's the deep thing about zelda, you gotta think about the characters....especially Link. :p i do admit i'd like to hear him talk though....or do something! ^^; he did do more in MM...but i didn't like that game all that much...:( it wasn't as good 'cuz miyamoto didn't work much on it....
