Ocarina of time doesnt really count as a platform game (there are some platform elements but it is a RPG mostly), for one thing there is no jump button. My favourite though would have to be the sonic games.

you could also argue its not a proper Rpg, I think Zelda is in a catorgory of its own, a mix of platform, RPG and puzzle all in one and thats why the game does so well because no other game plays like a zelda game

Hey for the amiga - i had a class platfomer call quick the thunder rabbit - it was a full game of a front of a magerzine - i dont expect any of you to know - i just wanted to share it with you

I became the Unreal Master when i hammered the BOTS on Pro and whipped people on the net a couple of times, despite the lag i had. id love to enter a competition in Unreal, will get it for Ps2 soon.

I don't play platformers really; the only one I own is Sonic Adventure, but apart from that they've never really interested me! :)

Sonic was a brilliant platform as well especially for the mega drive, fav sonic was Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic 3 (best way to play) It took me ages to get all 14 emeralds and become hyper sonic, you could even then become super tails (with chicks flying around). Amazing but i still love Zelda and like it better but thats because im a major Ninty fan

Super mario games were the best, i liked super mario world the best, well next to the N64 version. Super mario world is coming to the GBA soon as Super mario advance 2 Yeah :)
