Konami confirms Metal Gear Solid 4
Snake's adventures won't end in the jungles of MGS3; Konami pres tells investors a next iteration is on the way.
TOKYO--Just as Metal Gear Solid 3 is prepped for retail shelves here in the states, with its release due this week, Konami shareholders were updated on what the future holds for the espionage action series...at least in Japan.
During the Q&A session at Konami's recent midterm earnings press conference, one investor asked whether there are plans for the company to update its Metal Gear Solid series with yet another game.
The question was answered by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan president Motoyuki Yoshioka. Yoshioka-san confirmed that there are already plans for a fourth game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, and he hinted that the series could enjoy life even beyond that product.
"We already have ideas in our mind on what the fourth release [of Metal Gear Solid] will be like," Yoshioka said. "We believe that we can continue to develop [more] titles in the series. We hope that you will support us [in this decision]."

O heavens no, Snake must finish off Ocelot/Liquid and rescue Olga's child.
Hopefully Mgs4 will continue on with the story.

I just got MGS 3 for my son's 11th birthday. We love it so far and I'm glad to hear there will be more Metal Gear games to come. Hell yeah!!! The snake lives on!!!!!!

After Vamp was shot in the head and then got up, I stopped playing MGS games. After reviewing the storyline that happens after this event, I realized that I saved myself many hours of irritation.
Metal Gear Solid didn't go completely overboard, but it did hint at future WTFs.

In Metal Gear Solid 3 it was Big Boss's first big mission he had minor one's in the past but not one this large. Big Boss is still cooler than Raiden and for that matter, and like you said it was his first true mission. People don't like Raiden because of his Long blonde hair and purple lips, the faggot.

I played MGS2 again, and the main problem I have with Raiden is that he has no self confidence at all. He's always talking about how he can't do things. Raiden isn't even the most annoying character in MGS2, Rose is. I hate Rose so much.
